Promoting the “Big Boom” at Lincoln Logistics Bayonne

Challenge

Lincoln Equities Group (LEG), a top real estate developer located in East Rutherford, N.J., enlisted Violet PR’s assistance in promoting Lincoln Logistics Bayonne, a new industrial development set at the Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne. The 153-acre site underwent three years of site preparation work – including the demolition of two six-story, 1.5 million-square-foot 1940’s era buildings.

Solution

Violet PR’s multi-year PR campaign involved hosting multiple press events for project milestones including the acquisition and groundbreaking as well as site prep work that included multiple implosions. We hosted multiple journalists and camera crews for each event, and our news focused on the positive impact the development would have on the community.

In total, Violet PR secured over 100 news articles, 7 million coverage views and 4.68 billion impressions. We secured coverage across regional publications and broadcast outlets including interviews on CBS 2 NY, ABC 7 NY, NBC 4 NY with coverage in trade publications including Real Estate Weekly, NJBIZ, Jersey Digs, CoStar and dozens of others.

LEG ultimately secured United Parcel Service (UPS) as the anchor tenant, which is expected to create thousands of jobs and play a vital role in expanding the overall local economy.
